The following amendments are made in the Ph.D. Regulations vide Res. No. 18.13 & 18.14 of
the 18th Research Board meeting held on 29.12.2011,

1. 15.2 Two Seminar presentations prior
to the submission of synopsis
shall be given by the scholar,
which is open to faculty members
and research scholars
One Seminar presentation shall be given by
the scholar before the confirmation of the
provisional registration and another
presentation prior to the submission of
synopsis. Both seminars shall be open to
faculty members and research scholars
2. 13.1.10 Scholars with M.Phil. Degree in
the faculty of Science and
Humanities have been exempted
two course works provided the
M.Phil. Degree is related to the
proposed Ph.D. research work
and if duly recommended by the
Doctoral Committee
Scholars with M.Phil. Degree in the faculty

The other two courses shall be regular and
not special elective.
